What skills and experience we're looking for

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Technology, Art and Computing (TAC) faculty as a Teacher of Design & Technology. Design & Technology and Engineering are extremely popular subjects with our students and both are oversubscribed at KS4. TAC has benefitted from a significant financial investment over the past few years. We have completely refurbished and redesigned the space in our technology block, including the renovation of two workshops dedicated to Design and Technology and Engineering. Equipment and machinery have been updated to keep pace with technological changes, facilitating effective delivery of the practical elements of the curriculum. We invest not just in our facilities, but also in our people. We would support your professional and personal growth with both internal and external CPD opportunities. In addition to this, there is the potential for additional responsibility and an associated TLR payment for the right candidate. Last, but not least, you would be joining a dedicated, close-knit and supportive team of specialist teachers and support staff. If you would like to see if Bishop Rawstorne is the right fit for you, we would be pleased to offer you a pre-application visit. Why not come and see us in action?

Completed applications should be sent to Susan Hosker (Assistant Business Manager) at shosker@bishopr.co.uk Susan will also coordinate any pre-application visit requests.

Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete the confidential disclosure form and bring it to interview.

If you have not heard from us within two weeks of the closing date, then unfortunately you have not been shortlisted on this occasion.
