Teacher of Design Technology job summary
We are seeking to appoint a dedicated, creative and outstanding Teacher of Design Technology to join our team at CHS South, who has an excellent subject knowledge and proven ability to engage students.
The successful candidate will join a department that delivers a vibrant and creative curriculum that is relevant and engaging, leading to successful outcomes for the diverse range of students in our cohort. The Computing and Technology faculty at CHS South deliver Computing, Food Technology, Design Technology, and Business and Enterprise to all pupils. The team are experienced and enthusiastic as well as flexible and willing to teach in new areas.
This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional candidate to work with the CHS South team in developing our brand new 11-16 Secondary School. CHS South was opened in September 2018 to allow more young people in our community to access the successful model developed at our oversubscribed sister school, Chorlton High School.
The closing date for applications is midday, Friday 20 May 2022. Interviews will take place the week commencing Monday 23 May 2022.
