We are looking for a Teacher of D&T to join a team of teachers who are all passionate about teaching and its impact on learning. The department offers all areas of D&T at KS3 and GCSEs in 3D Design and Food Preparation & Nutrition alongside Vocational Hospitality & Catering and Construction. Over the last few years, the department has seen a significant increase in results and a rise in numbers opting for KS4.
We are looking for an individual who can add to this already friendly and supportive team; a teacher who builds excellent relationships with students and inspires them in their learning. Ideally, you will be able to teach across all areas of Design & Technology at KS3 and able to teach (or willing to train to teach) Construction at KS4 although any specialism would be considered.
As a team who are always at the forefront of innovation in the classroom, we are looking for an individual who can add to this already thriving team, a teacher who builds excellent relationships with students and inspires them in their learning. We offer an exceptional development programme with support which goes beyond the ECT years, and we welcome applications from candidates with all levels of experience.
If you share our vision based on the unshakeable belief that
children learn through all aspects of their daily lives and that their values
and knowledge, experiences and habits are as important as their academic
qualifications, we would be delighted to hear from you.
