Teacher of Design Technology job summary

We are looking to appoint an inspirational, enthusiastic and committed teacher of Design Technology to join us from January 2023  who can deliver a varied KS3 curriculum and can teach Product Design to KS4. The aptitude to demonstrate a passion for the design development iteration process and possess excellent subject knowledge, whilst consistently delivering inspirational and innovative lessons, is essential. The successful candidate will join a highly committed team dedicated to raising achievement and transforming learning. A commitment to extra-curricular and curriculum enrichment is essential. The post is suitable for both ECTs and more experienced qualified teachers. Informal discussions about the role and a visit to the school are warmly welcomed. Haberdashers’ Abraham Darby is a vibrant, 11-18 mixed school which opened as a new Academy in September 2008 as part of the Haberdashers' Adams’ Federation Trust; thriving partnership with Haberdashers' Adams school in Newport.
