Teacher of Design Technology job summary

We are seeking to appoint a capable, dynamic and creative individual with excellent subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Design Technology. The appointed candidate will demonstrate excellence in teaching and learning and an ability to engage and inspire students of all ages and attainment levels.

The Design Technology Department offers students an opportunity to complete the AQA GCSE in both Design Technology and Engineering. Design Technology and Engineering are popular subjects at the
College, it is common for each option to have two classes at Key Stage 4.

The successful candidate will join a small but experienced, innovative and supportive team of Technology teachers. They will be joining the
Design Technology Department at an exciting time in its development, following the introduction of a Key Stage 3 carousel curriculum model.
