About the role
- You will continuously evaluate and review your role and propose improvements to this Job Description in the light of experience as part of the performance management process. You will also be required to carry out any other additional duties as might reasonable required by the Head of School.
- To maintain a thorough and up to date knowledge of the teaching of your subject(s) and take account of wider curriculum developments which are relevant to your work.
- To plan lessons/activities/tutorials and sequences of lessons to meet students’ individual learning needs
- To use a range of appropriate strategies and follow Academy policies for teaching/tutoring, behaviour management and classroom management
- To do all that you can to ensure that you safeguard and promote the welfare of students in the Academy

Lodge Park Academy is a mixed secondary school situated on the edge of Corby in Northamptonshire, which was officially opened by Formula 1 ace Lewis Hamilton in May 2013. We offer a high quality education for students aged 11 to 19.
