What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for:
- a dedicated and passionate teacher of DT who has resilience and a strong, positive work ethic,
- a commitment to providing high quality lessons to engage, challenge and inspire our students,
- an individual with the ability to teach DT across the full ability range at KS3,
- an individual with a strong subject knowledge in D&T Resistant Materials across KS3 and KS4,
- an individual with desirable skills and subject knowledge within D&T Electronics at KS4,
- a colleague who is inspirational to colleagues and students and committed to sharing best practice,
- a strong commitment to extra-curricular and enrichment opportunities.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a well-qualified and inspirational teacher of Design Technology (Resistant Materials specialist, with and a desirable focus of Electronics) who is committed to the highest standards of learning, teaching and achievement. This is an exciting opportunity to teach D&T and progress your career in a school judged by Ofsted as ‘outstanding’.
The successful candidate will also have very high expectations and an unwavering commitment to all students maximising their potential through outstanding learning, teaching and support. This role has a flexible start is required from either June 2023, or September 2023, until the return of the maternity leaver, which is anticipated to be June 2024.
