Teacher of Design & Technology (Maternity Cover) job summary

Required for January 2020, this post is suitable for either an NQT or a more experienced professional.

We are seeking to appoint a high quality, enthusiastic and ambitious teacher of Design & Technology offering one or more of the following: Construction, Engineering, Food,Textiles or Design & Technology. You will join our dedicated and already successful department and will have the opportunity to teach across the full age and ability range. You will enjoy working with our motivated, well-behaved pupils and with a supportive and hard-working staff in this over-subscribed 11 - 18 mixed comprehensive school.

The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to enthuse and motivate students. A strong team player, self-motivated and committed to continuing professional development. NQT’s will benefit from our well-developed support programmes.
