Teacher of Design & Technology (MPR)
Do you have a passion for teaching Design & Technology? Can you teach Engineering/Motor Vehicle/ and/or Resistant Materials?
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, inspirational and dynamic teacher of Design & Technology to join our outstanding and highly motivated technology department from September 2019. You should have a background in engineering/motor vehicle and/or resistant materials disciplines however, applications will be considered from other areas of DT.
You will be able to inspire students by using a wide range of teaching and learning strategies, be willing to contribute to the ethos of the faculty, including participating in extra-curricular and enrichment opportunities for students and have excellent organizational skills. The department teaches a curriculum consisting of Product Design, Engineering, Textiles, Motor Vehicle Engineering, Construction, Graphics and Food Technology. We have high expectations for students who are happy, well-behaved and keen to learn.
Applications are welcome from both newly qualified and experienced teachers. There is a strong commitment to professional development and the Academy offers an excellent statutory induction programme for NQT’s.
