We are delighted to be making an appointment for the position of Teacher of Design Technology for our high achieving 11-18 academy in North Yorkshire. Outwood Academy Easingwold has the highest performing Post 16 centre in North Yorkshire and GCSE results are the highest for non-selective schools, an achievement we are incredibly proud of.

This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic, enthusiastic and inspiring classroom practitioner to join our successful and forward-thinking Design and Technology department. The D&T department prides itself on providing our students with a rich curriculum that gives students the skills and knowledge they need to solve tomorrow's problems. The popularity of Design and Technology has allowed us to offer Product Design at KS5 where many of our students go on to pursue the subject to degree level. The successful applicant will work with us as part of a team to continue to provide a first class creative education up to A level; and is the school of choice in its community.

Applications are invited from those with experience of teaching Design Technology or Early Careers Teachers. An excellent knowledge and understanding of the subject is essential. You should possess the skills and determination to make a significant difference to the lives of our students and share our single goal of ‘students first’
