Teacher of Design & Technology job summary
As part of the Art & Design Faculty, the Design & Technology team is playing a key role in the school's journey to achieving the Artsmark Award, a valuable platform for promoting the subject within the school and wider community.
Parmiter’s coordinates CPD for the Watford Partnership for Teacher Training and offers a robust induction programme. We can offer the successful candidate:

The Good Schools Guide describes Parmiter's as "purposeful, friendly, with an inclusive feel and a sense of both history and progressiveness".
Parmiter's School relocated to the current 60 acre rural Hertfordshire site from London's East End in 1977. The school enjoys a good reputation for traditional values and academic achievement whilst maintaining a true family feel among staff and students.
Experienced teachers, newly qualified colleagues and support staff benefit from a supportive leadership team who focus on CPD and well-being as a priority.
Parmiter's is part of the Watford Partnership for Teacher Training and takes the lead on Initial Teacher Training. A number of existing teachers are accredited with being Specialist Leaders of Education.
The school is consistently over subscribed for Year 7 and Sixth Form entry. Children of staff are a priority for admission (a qualifying period may apply).
