Teacher of Design Technology job summary
We are seeking to appoint a creative, dedicated and forward-thinking Teacher of Design Technology to join our rapidly growing and enthusiastic team. The successful candidate will be joining a team of excellent practitioners and would suit a teacher at any stage of their career to work within a popular and improving subject area at the Academy. A background in product design or resistant materials would be an advantage.
The Academy is looking for someone who has:
• A passion for Design Technology and can inspire students across Key Stages 3-5 to be successful;
• An interest in contribution to Wider Curriculum opportunities within Design Technology.
• The drive to support the growth and development of Design Technology, particularly at A Level.
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Teaching a timetable of Key Stages 3-5 and all associated planning, marking and reporting in line with Academy expectations;
• Undertaking the role of a Form Tutor.
