Teacher of Design Technology job summary

The Headteacher and Governors are seeking to appoint an outstanding, highly skilled and ambitious Design Technology teacher to join Robertsbridge Community College. We welcome applications from both experienced and newly qualified teachers, as well as those that would prefer to work part time.

Under the direction of a new Subject Leader for STEM, you will be joining a creative, innovative and supportive Technology team where new ideas and ways of doing things are encouraged.  This is an exciting time to be joining the College as we work towards creating a Technology department for the future. 

You will be required to teach Technology across KS3 and KS4; experience of GCSE Graphics and Resistant Materials will be an advantage. 

Visited by Ofsted in February 2017, the College maintained its ‘Good’ status, with the official report stating the following; “New teachers feel very well supported and all staff value the helpful opportunities for professional development in a culture of encouragement.”
