Teacher of Design Technology job summary
This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a skilled, creative and self-motivated professional to join our forward thinking and well-resourced Design Technology Department. DT is a popular and valued subject at Sharnbrook. All students learn DT as part of the KS3 curriculum, with many students choosing to continue their studies at both key stages four and five. The department offers Product Design, Food & Nutrition and Textiles to students, with the team providing specialist input to students after key stage three. The successful candidate will be creative, imaginative and an excellent team player with a proven record of excellence in the classroom. You will provide consistently high-quality teaching and enable the effective use of resources to facilitate high standards of learning and achievement for all students. If you have the right knowledge, experience and a commitment to ensuring that all our young people receive an excellent education then we look forward to hearing from you.
This is a full-time position, but part-time hours will be considered for the right candidate.
