What skills and experience we're looking for
The Governors of St Edmund Arrowsmith Catholic High School wish to appoint an inspirational Teacher of Design & Technology.
The ability to teach food at KS3 is an advantage, but the successful candidate will teach GCSE DT (KS4).
The Technology curriculum continues to play a significant role with our young learners, developing creativity and enthusing the development of core skills such as problem solving, collaboration and communication. Design and Technology is always a very popular option choice and our potential new colleague will join a team of well-established and committed practitioners.

Established in 1961, St Edmund Arrowsmith Catholic High School has a proud history. We are a mixed, voluntary-aided Catholic secondary school for pupils aged 11-16, located in Ashton-in-Makerfield, near Wigan in Greater Manchester. The pupil roll is 1,200 and we are over-subscribed year on year due to the excellent reputation the school holds within the community.
