Chiltern Hills Academy invites applications for the opportunity to join the staff of a successful, mixed 11-18 Church of England Academy. Based in the market town of Chesham, Buckinghamshire, we are located in the Chiltern Hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty conveniently situated at the end of the London Underground Metropolitan Line.
We are seeking to appoint, from September 2021, a full-time dynamic teacher of Drama. The successful candidate will be teaching Drama to GCSE, A Level and BTEC and the ability to teach dance and/or music would also be desirable.
Our Performing Arts department is housed in a purpose-built block with superb state-of-the-art facilities. The school believes that a broader balanced curriculum is vital and ensures that students have access to a range of creative subjects. As a result, the school is well-known locally for the high standards of its dance, drama and music.
This post requires an enthusiastic, hardworking and conscientious individual with a strong track record who can communicate his/her passion for the performing arts through innovative, diverse and exciting teaching methods.
