Teacher of Drama/English Maternity Cover job summary

Orchards Academy's aim is to work with students, parents and the wider community to provide a safe, supportive and stimulating learning environment where high expectations and levels of challenge enable our students to achieve academically, socially and emotionally so they can make a positive contribution to society.

We are seeking to appoint a qualified teacher to cover the Maternity Leave of our Drama/English Teacher at Orchards Academy. The successful candidate will be joining a busy department and will be required to work across the whole ability range at KS3 and KS4.

As part of The Kemnal Academies Trust (TKAT), Orchards Academy has a strong commitment to professional development of staff.

The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post, in accordance with the Immigration Act 2016
