Teacher of Drama job summary
We are looking for a creative and ambitious teacher of drama for KS3 and KS4 to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to further enhance the successes of this supportive, high profile and high achieving faculty.
As a teacher of drama, you will be dedicated to raising standards to ensure continued improvement in the quality of teaching and learning. You should be passionate about raising student achievement and ensuring every student reaches their full potential by planning, delivering, monitoring, evaluating and developing appropriately inspiring broad and differentiated lessons.
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, innovative and creative classroom practitioner with an in-depth subject knowledge, demonstrating the ability and aptitude to teach to a very high standard up to and including GCSE. As is common in drama, confidence is key and you will be someone who believes they can inspire the next generation of dramatists! All members of the department contribute significantly to our extra-curricular programme and the ideal candidate will be keen to do the same.
