Teacher of Drama (Maternity Cover) job summary

Aureus School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and creative Teacher of Drama to provide maternity cover from February or April 2022. This is a great opportunity for an ECT looking for a drama teaching opportunity - or for an experienced qualified teacher looking to take on responsibility for KS3 and KS4. There is scope for the position to become Acting Head of Drama with a mid range TLR2 for the right candidate.

Your opportunity

We are looking for a talented individual to take on a drama teaching maternity cover with responsibilities for KS3 and KS4. Working within the Creative and Expressive Arts department, there is close collaboration with experienced teams from the Music, Art and Dance departments. To date, students have participated in the Shakespeare In School festival and are looking forward to the school production next year. This role is suited to someone seeking a full time role or a minimum of 0.5FTE .
