Teacher of Drama (Maternity Cover) job summary
We are looking for a teacher who is able to motivate and enthuse young people, raising their expectations and accelerating their progress. The successful candidate will join a highly committed department which works collegiately to ensure that our students achieve the very best. They will work closely with a small team, to offer
high-quality Drama and Performing Arts provision and maintain the success of these extremely popular subjects.
The successful candidate will teach at KS3-KS4 and for a suitable candidate, there is the possibility of teaching at KS5.

▪ an enthusiastic and passionate teacher of Drama who is an outstanding classroom practitioner
▪ a commitment to high quality planning and creative teaching and learning
▪ an understanding of the importance of ongoing assessment and feedback to facilitate
continuous progress
▪ a desire to play a full role in the wider life of the school
