Teacher of Drama (Maternity Cover)
(4 days per week)

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, innovative and inspirational Teacher of Drama to join the Creative and Expressive Arts Faculty in this successful selective girls’ school, which consistently achieves excellent examination results. You will be well qualified with a proven track record at GCSE, GCE and also extra-curricular productions. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach across the whole age range and needs to enjoy teaching well-motivated students within an academically challenging environment. Drama is a popular subject at KS3, 4 and 5.

A willingness to participate in extra‐curricular activities and to contribute to the wider life of our school community is essential.

Essential skills and experience

• Evidence of successful teaching of Drama and Theatre Studies at Key Stage 3, 4 and 5
• Experience of leading extra-curricular learning opportunities
• Experience of involvement in school productions/ performances
• A knowledge of good practice in safeguarding
