Teacher of Drama job summary
The Gateway Academy is the secondary provision within the Gateway Learning Community [GLC] which is a partnership between one secondary and four primary Academies located within Tilbury and Chadwell in the borough of Thurrock to the east of London.

The Gateway Academy is seeking to appoint dynamic and motivated Teacher of Drama to work at our academy, where there are good opportunities for career advancement. If you are creative and enthusiastic Teacher of Drama who can develop student’s imagination, commitment, creative thinking and self-discipline, this is the ideal role for you.
The successful candidate
• Will be an excellent, enthusiastic and experienced classroom practitioner with the ability to teach across GCSE Drama and BTEC Acting courses
• Have the ability to motivate pupils to achieve outcomes
• Have the ability to enthuse and inspire students with a love of drama
• Be able to inspire students to learn and achieve and have a strong commitment to the highest of standards.
• Be keen to drive the development of related extra-curricular activities and partnerships.
• Enjoy working in a challenging but highly rewarding environment
