Teacher of Drama with English (Maternity Cover) job summary
The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Drama and English teacher with a passion for the subjects and a commitment to helping all students reach their full potential. The successful candidate will have the capacity to bring innovative ideas to the classroom and demonstrate quality first teaching. We would welcome applications from experienced teachers or early career teachers, and we can design the timetable to suit the strengths of the successful candidate.
Our faculties are well-resourced, and we provide high-quality professional development. We would welcome applications from Early Career Teachers, and we provide a comprehensive ECT induction and support package. The Pingle Academy is a part of The de Ferrers Trust. We are a Multi Academy Trust currently based in Staffordshire and Derbyshire. We consist of 3 Secondary Academies and 4 Primary Academies.
The Pingle Academy is a co-educational, comprehensive, secondary school for students aged 11–18 years. It is situated on a large secure site at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac. We benefit from a wide range of specialist facilities, including a floodlit astro-turf area, Learning Support Base, Autism Resource Centre and a purpose-built Sixth Form Centre.
