Economics is a lively and exceptionally popular subject at The Compton School. Students work in a purposeful and dynamic atmosphere where they are encouraged to develop a love of the subject and apply the theory learnt in lessons to the world around them. Students are given the opportunity to work with a wide range of resources, and an increasing number of trips and visits consolidate classroom-based learning. This role involves teaching GCSE and A Level Economics predominantly, but a full suite of KS 4 and KS 5 Business Studies qualifications are offered at the school and the ability to offer some teaching in this area is desirable.
