You will work alongside the Principal Alex Reynolds and the UTC staff to further develop a centre of excellence focusing on Engineering & Manufacturing and Creative & Digital Media. Under the direction of the Curriculum Director you will support the delivery of a range of qualifications. These include the Cambridge Nationals in Engineering and GCSE Design Technology at KS4 and the Level 3 Cambridge Technical in Engineering and A-level Design Technology at KS5.
In September 2024, the UTC will commence the delivery of the T Level in Engineering Design and Development. The successful candidate will create additional capacity in the department to ensure the successful implementation of the T level through ongoing planning, employer engagement and the successful securing and delivery of work placements.
You will be a highly skilled practitioner who understands the challenges of educating 13-19 year olds in an employer-led technology rich environment. Effective partnership working is absolutely critical to the UTC’s success. We also welcome applications from early careers teachers who have the skills and attributes to develop their expertise within our unique environment.
