Teacher of Engineering job summary

This is a unique opportunity for an Engineering teacher to teach within a growing UTC working in a team of positive and relationships-driven staff.
You must possess the skills and determination to make a significant difference to the lives of our students, equipping them with the skills and characteristics needed to ensure they are at the front of the queue for the best apprenticeships and university places.
Engineering UTC is a 13-19 school (PAN 600) in Scunthorpe town centre which is supported by an impressive list of local, regional, national and multi-national companies; the University of Hull is the lead educational supporter of the UTC. We are driven by the Paul Dix approach to relationship building in boundaries with no shouting, no booths and a commitment to low exclusions.

Teaching across the age 11-16 age range in training or in post;
Excellent classroom practitioner;
A keen interest in developing teaching and learning within your subject area;
A good understanding of planning and assessment techniques;
The ability to create a stimulating learning environment;
High expectations of self, colleagues and learners;
Good communication skills.
