Its student population is rapidly growing with numbers leaving in 2019 compared to those joining, increasing by 200%. Behaviour is good with a relentless focus upon learning, aspiration and in establishing quality effective relationships between students, staff and the local community. Outcomes in 2018 were above national average in all main categories and the academy is very fortunate to have exceptional facilities, such as swimming pools, an engineering base and a 220 seat private cinema."
