Job summary

We are seeking a Teacher of English who will inspire our pupils in the classroom by delivering innovative curricula and giving them the confidence to think big for themselves as they progress through our academy. This post is to start in January 2020.

Essential educational requirements

• Educated to degree level
• 5 GCSE's A*-C or 9-4 Grade including Mathematics and English
• Willingness to undertake training

Essential qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status

Essential skills and experience

•Knowledge of the National Curriculum requirements
•Understands and is familiar with teaching and learning strategies
•Evidence of participation in professional development or study
•Commitment to improving student learning and raising achievement at all levels
•Understands and values the processes of planning monitoring and evaluation as an aid to raising standards
