What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for an exceptional teacher of English to join our growing team in our small family school.

We are passionate about teaching and learning about English and expect you to be too. We are looking for an individual to join the team as it continues to grow as our school numbers rise. The English Team is dynamic and supportive and are committed to excellence. We are part of an excellent community of English Teams across our Trust, and work collaboratively on curriculum, teaching and learning and assessment.

We are flexible and could support full time or part time colleagues or flexible working.

The successful candidate will be innovative, creative and enthusiastic with a determination to achieve the highest outcomes, have an incisive understanding of teaching and learning and the ability to reflect and challenge. Professional development opportunities are plentiful and we are working hard to be innovative around workload- we want you to have a balanced life and enjoy working with our children! We have really strong supportive policies on feedback, reporting and behaviour for learning that allow you and your team time to plan and teach excellent lessons.
