The Mountbatten School English Faculty is committed to helping all students become happy, confident, curious and knowledgeable learners. Our students experience a range of texts and opportunities to discover the magic of words.

Our students are a joy to work with and make teaching at The Mountbatten School a pleasurable and rewarding experience. We are a well-resourced department and have access to a large library and chrome books which can be booked for students to use in lessons. We teach a three year KS3 curriculum and a two year GCSE course. Currently, our students study Edexcel English Literature and AQA English Language GCSE. All teachers contribute to our schemes of work and we ensure that our planning is collaborative and considers both our subject content and the best pedagogical approaches to ensure student progress.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed teacher to join our supportive and dedicated English team in the new academic year. This role would suit ECTs or an experienced teacher looking to develop their career.
