Walton Academy are looking for an inspiring teacher to deliver English across key stage 3, 4 and 5. The ideal candidate will deliver innovative and creative lessons that engage and challenge students to achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will join an enthusiastic and supportive team.
The English department at Walton is very strong team comprising of individuals that have a range of different experiences.We have members of the team that have worked in the academy for over twenty years, staff that are currently going through the ECT process and a large number somewhere in between.We work closely with ITT providers to support people in the early years of training too.
At Walton Academy we fundamentally believe that every student should achieve their full potential and all staff are committed to ensuring this happens.Over the last three years we have achieved record results with a Progress 8 score of 0.98, placing us in the top 1% of all schools nationally and the number one school in Lincolnshire for progress.
