Teacher of English job summary
We are looking for an English superstar to join our excellent English team.
Do you love your subject? Are you dedicated to working with young people? Does inspiring students in their learning in English and English Literature fill you with joy? If so, we want to hear from you.
Our teachers are ambitious for our students; our curriculum is knowledge rich and we are unapologetic in our high standards. Students learn Aristotle, Chaucer, Shakespeare, Shelley, Dickens, and this is just Year 7. We want our students to leave us at the end of their education, having learnt the most powerful knowledge there is to learn in English and English Literature.
We are a warm strict school with excellent standards of behaviour; we value good manners, etiquette and kindness and teach this to our students. At Malcolm Arnold Academy, enrichment is part of every student’s entitlement; we offer a broad range of after school clubs for students to participate in.
You will receive excellent professional development and support. Visit us and see us in action to see this all for yourself or arrange a call to find out more about us. Please contact Lucy Kingett to organise this on Lkingett@malcolmarnoldacademy.co.uk
