About Herne Bay High School
Herne Bay High School is a hugely successful school that serves the Herne Bay coastal area of North Kent. We have a comprehensive intake and are significantly oversubscribed in all year groups and in February 2018 Ofsted rated us good with aspects of outstanding. Whilst academic rigour and examination success is at the forefront of our development, we passionately believe that a broad, balanced approach to education is important and as such we place tremendous emphasis on the Creative and Performing Arts and Sport as a cornerstone of a young person’s educational journey. Herne Bay High School is also a champion of collaborative practice, with current memberships to the East Kent Learning Alliance (EKLA), East Kent Schools Together Network (EKST), and the Coastal Alliance Co-Operative Trust (CACOT).
