Actual Salary £31,650 - £49,084 per annum per annum (M1 to UP3)
This job is permanent and offered on a full time basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic professional to join our oversubscribed upper school. We are on a journey of rapid improvement and want inquisitive, positive, dynamic and resilient colleagues to join our excellent English department.
Our thriving department is currently recruiting for a Teacher of English. The department is very well-resourced and there will be the opportunity to teach across all Key Stages.
Ideally, we would like to appoint someone who has:

An awareness of Rosenshine’s principles of instruction
-
An understanding of key substantive and disciplinary concepts in English Language and English Literature
-
An awareness of some of the concepts explored in Tom Sherrington’s ‘Walkthru’ series or Doug Lemov’s ‘Teach Like a Champion’ series.
