What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking an inspirational teacher committed to high academic standards who can communicate to young people an enthusiasm for English.
We are looking to appoint a suitably qualified English teacher to join a dynamic and supportive department. The post is permanent, full-time or part time and would be suitable for either an ECT or an experienced teacher. The successful candidate would be expected to have a passion for learning and teaching, together with the skills to inspire and motivate our students to achieve the very best they can and is dedicated to their own professional development.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a Multi Academy Trust which has a fantastic team of teachers who are dedicated to supporting pupils to make great progress as well as working as a tightly knit team. The Trust puts a very high priority on meeting the professional development needs of its staff to enable them to progress within the Trust.
Applicants must possess graduate subject knowledge and have high expectations. The ability to teach across the age range, including A Level at our STEM college and offer a second subject, would be desirable.
Closing Date: 09:00, Monday 6th February 2023. Please apply at the earliest opportunity. We reserve the right to close the vacancy early should we receive applications from outstanding candidates.
Applicants must complete the Trust’s application form - we cannot accept CVs. When applying, please complete all sections of the application form and ensure that you do not leave any gaps in your qualification/work history and that you give details of any periods not accounted for by full time employment, education or training. Forms with missing sections and/or gaps may not be considered. An Application Form and recruitment information can be downloaded from our website www.woottonupper.co.uk or requested from HR.
