What skills and experience we're looking for
The College is looking to appoint a maternity cover Teacher of English and Drama to join our extremely successful English subject team. The ideal candidate will be an effective and innovative teacher, capable of inspiring students of all abilities, and able to teach key stage 3 and key stage 4. This is an exciting opportunity and would be suitable for an experienced teacher or an outstanding NQT who wants to work in a school focused on ensuring that all students achieve or exceed their potential. The post could also work as a job share with appropriate candidates.
What the school offers its staff
In 2024 our overall Attainment 8 score was 4.6. Students studying English Language and English Literature achieved 70% and 64% grade 4 and above respectively, with 13%+ achieving a grade 7 or above.
