Teacher of English and Maths job summary
The Governors and Headteacher wish to appoint an outstanding and engaging teacher of English and Maths, who is committed to raising the aspirations of students with learning difficulties. Interest, enthusiasm and knowledge and experience of teaching English and Maths are essential. We welcome applications from candidates who have a primary teaching background.
Oakland’s School is a unique secondary special school for pupils with moderate and complex learning difficulties.
The successful candidate will join a school team committed to providing a safe and inclusive learning environment where everyone is valued and encouraged to reach their full potential. The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and safety of its pupils and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and Disclosure and Barring Service.
