Teacher of English job summary

We require a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher to join our dedicated, friendly and hardworking English department in September, 2020.

The English department currently offers GCSE qualifications in English Literature, Language and Media. At ‘A’ Level we offer English Literature and Media. The ability to teach Key Stage 5 would be of benefit. Progress for students at Arrow Vale is very strong for all sub-groups.

The Academy received an ‘Outstanding’ grade in all categories from OfSTED in November 2018 and we are a designated National Teaching School and National Support School. This is a very exciting time to be joining a highly motivated and successful team. Applications are welcomed from newly qualified as well as more experienced professionals who possess the necessary drive and commitment to work with our students to contribute to the continued improvement of the Academy. In return there will be clear opportunities for personal and professional development.
