Cromwell Community College, a member of the Active Learning Trust, is a good school which aspires to be outstanding. We want our English Faculty to be a driving force towards this aspiration.
We are looking to appoint an inspirational English teacher to join our successful team at Cromwell Community College. The successful candidate will be teaching across KS3 and KS4, and possibly KS5. Knowledge of teaching the AQA English literature A-Level would be an advantage, but is not essential.

We are a popular, oversubscribed and successful school. We have just completed a large expansion of the secondary phase. This includes a new state of the art English block which has just opened. Additionally, we have completed and opened our new primary phase meaning that we are now the first all-through (4-18) school in Cambridgeshire. It is imperative that we ensure our pupils access a curriculum which is relevant and ambitious throughout their journey at Cromwell. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is ambitious and wants to work collaboratively with the primary phase in addition to further improve GCSE and A Level outcomes.
