We are looking to appoint a Deputy SENCO (English) to work with our Director of SEND/Learning Support and the Learning Support Faculty to support our SEND students. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and inspirational teacher who has the vision and drive to support the SENDCO in further developing the Learning Support Faculty.

Applications are invited from high quality candidates who wish to join and outstanding and committed team to inspire, motivate, challenge and support our students to make rapid progress. Full training will be provided.

As a Classroom Teacher of English, you will join our Faculty and School Teams and take teaching responsibility for standards in English, working alongside some very talented staff in your Faculty. In our college system (of five colleges), English sits in Bronte College, alongside Year 8, currently.

We will appoint a consistently good to outstanding teacher who can achieve good or better results for progress and attainment with her/his classes.

We are determined that the successful candidate will have:

o A passion for teaching in her/his specialist subject.
o Developing skills, in securing good to outstanding progress and attainment with groups at KS3 and KS4.
o Well-developed skills in giving strong marking and feedback to students, which leads to well-matched and challenging learning activities.
o Evidence of good teaching currently.
o Alignment with our school values of Manners, Hard work and Honesty.
