Teacher of English job summary
An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher of English to join our successful department. You will have a passion for your subject and the skills to engage students across the age and ability range. You will be ambitious for our students and inspire them to continue their studies of English post-GCSE in a highly successful, partially selective school.
We welcome applications from experienced teachers and ECTs. We are particularly interested in candidates who have the skills and experience to teach A Level English Literature. The successful candidate will be welcomed into a department of highly experienced teachers. The role is offered as full-time but applications from those interested in a part-time position will be considered.

Parmiter's School relocated to the current 60 acre rural Hertfordshire site from London's East End in 1977. The school enjoys a good reputation for traditional values and academic achievement whilst maintaining a true family feel among staff and students.
