An exciting opportunity has arisen at our outstanding school for an inspirational and enthusiastic Teacher of English to teach across KS3 to KS5 from January 2023 or earlier working 4 days a week. You will be joining a very supportive department that achieves exceptional outcomes for students.
This post is offered on a fixed term contract to cover for the substantive post holder’s maternity leave.
The successful candidate will have the experience and ability to teach across all age and ability ranges. You will be an effective classroom teacher with the ability to raise the achievement of all students and be keen to play a full part in the life of the school.
The English Faculty offers English Language, English Literature, Drama and Media and is one of the most consistently successful departments in the school.
Applications from ECTs are welcome as the school has a strong ECT training and support programme.
Prendergast School is an Outstanding 11-16 Girls School with a mixed 6th Form and benefits from being part of the Leathersellers’ Federation of Schools. It is one of the most successful schools in Lewisham.
