As a forward-looking and innovative school, we are seeking to appoint a highly skilled Teacher of English to join our friendly and successful team as maternity cover. This is an outstanding opportunity for an ECT or experienced teacher to join and progress in our highly successful English Department. QTS status is essential. An ability to teach across the full age and ability range up to A Level is desirable.
Kingdown School is ranked in the top 10 secondary schools in Wiltshire. Situated in Warminster in the heart of beautiful rural Wiltshire with excellent links to Salisbury, Bath, Bristol and the South-West. The English Department is housed in the English Block. All full time English teachers have their own room well-furnished with PC, projector and whiteboard. There is an excellent resource room, with kitchenette, a comfortable Learning Resources Centre, and access to an excellent school library. Working conditions are excellent and enable English teachers to keep closely in touch and share ideas.
