Teacher of English job summary

 We are seeking an outstanding candidate to teach English, initially to KS3. The successful candidate will plan and deliver outstanding lessons, inspire students and contribute to the continuing development of the English curriculum and the department. 

At KS3 we follow the Mastery English programme.  We are looking for an innovative English teacher with excellent subject knowledge, who can enthuse, engage and motivate young people at all levels, and contribute fully to our team.

Borough Academy serves a cohort of students from the local community. The Welfare, Attendance, PSHCE and Head of Year teams are all Designated Safeguarding Lead Level 3 qualified.
