Teacher of English job summary
The Holgate Academy is looking for an excellent Teacher of English with a commitment to academic excellence and helping every learner succeed to deliver innovative and creative lessons which engage and challenge students to achieve their full potential. We are recruiting to meet an increase in Year 7 numbers in 2019-20.
This post would suit either a new entrant to the profession or an experienced teacher. We would welcome a teacher returning to work after a career break and will consider part time or flexible working where possible.

We are a large secondary academy for students aged 11-16 years based in Hucknall and, together with our partner academies, offer post 16 study at the Hucknall Sixth Form Centre.
We support our young people, so they enjoy their time at the academy and play a key part in all that academy life has to offer. We are immensely proud of the successes achieved by our students and we constantly strive to do more and be even better. Our ultimate purpose is very simple – to do everything that we can to ensure that our students leave ready to take their place in an increasingly complicated and competitive world.
