Are you looking to teach in a happy, well established and successful English Department, where Ofsted recently said behaviour was excellent?
You will be a highly motivated and enthusiastic colleague who is keen to make a difference. Your role will be instrumental in delivering the Kepier vision of inspirational, supportive and challenging learning experiences.
You will be a practitioner who has the vision, energy and drive to build on existing strengths and the ability to move the subject forward. You must have a good English qualification, be able to clearly communicate your passion for English and literacy, and engage successfully with our learners.
You will be required to teach across the full age and ability range, and therefore candidates must have good knowledge and understanding of KS3 and KS4 English. Applications are welcomed from ECTs. We will appoint the best candidate on the day. This could be an upper threshold teacher, main scale teacher or ECT.
Commitment to safeguarding
The school is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share in this commitment. As part of our due diligence and to comply with our obligations in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education, an online search of publicly available information will be undertaken for all shortlisted candidates. All School posts are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore applicants will be subject to appropriate background checks and vetting including an enhanced DBS check and checks against the children’s barred list.
