Aureus School are looking to cover a maternity leave and are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Teacher of English to join us from April 2020.

Your opportunity

Come and work in the established English Department alongside English Literature and Language Lead Practitioners to enthuse and engage our students with our innovative curriculum, exploring a range of topics from Odysseus and Chaucer to modern texts such as The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time. As a purpose built school, Aureus has brand new classrooms using the latest equipment such as SMART TV boards in every classroom and Visualisers, enabling teachers to bring learning to life and engage our learners.

Aureus School is a state of the art comprehensive 11-16 school that opened on the Great Western Park, Didcot, in September 2017 with our first cohort of Year 7 students. We are excited to collaborate with local stakeholders to shape our offer as a STEAM specialist mixed school to create choice for the wider community in southern Oxfordshire.
