Teacher of English (Maternity Cover) job summary

We are looking to appoint a highly committed English teacher who has a strong passion for their subject with a vibrant and collaborative approach to working with our students and team.

Having strong subject knowledge is essential and will add value to the aligned Federation curriculum delivered from KS3-KS5. This exciting role will provide opportunities to work with colleagues in other Federation schools to plan and develop professionally, whilst teaching at Crayford.

The successful candidate will collaborate in planning and delivering lessons designed for students across a range of age and abilities, this will include teaching students to achieve their best and make a year’s progress following a year of your input. You will also promote a love of English across the full range of the school, supporting students to be lifelong learners, resilient and committed to their studies.

Experience of teaching GCSE is desired. NQT teachers are also welcome to apply. This is a one year fixed term post.
