What skills and experience we're looking for

We are now recruiting for a talented Teacher of English to join our department. This post is for fixed term maternity cover from January until summer 2025.

We are looking for applications from new or experienced practitioners with excellent subject knowledge and who are able to promote their subject throughout the College with passion and commitment.

Candidates will be well supported by a strong department team and the work of the United Learning subject advisory team. Teaching will be underpinned by a robust, academic curriculum, assessment and a whole school approach to Teaching and Learning.

You will have the opportunity to teach students in Years 7 to 11 and will join a highly committed and successful team who support one another to succeed and have a shared interest in professional learning and development of the subject.
