What skills and experience we're looking for

The Castle School are looking for an inspirational and enthusiastic part time (0.6 FTE) Teacher of English to join our outstanding English faculty from September 2024. You will have a passion for teaching English together with the skills to inspire our students to succeed.

At The Castle School we have very high expectations of ourselves and of our students. We invest heavily in our staff and have a superb reputation for outstanding support and development for teachers, particularly for ECTs.

The Blackdown Education Partnership is a multi-academy trust (MAT) working across Devon and Somerset. It was born of a merger between two established MATs: The Castle Partnership Trust and Uffculme Academy Trust and currently looks after a family of 12 schools: 6 primary and 6 secondary and 4 nurseries.
